Fonds l’ampli : a participatory finance accelerator

What?

Fonds l’ampli is a financial incentive that enhances ampli’s equity-based participatory finance program. For every dollar invested by an individual in a participatory equity financing campaign, the Fonds l’ampli will invest an additional dollar, up to a maximum of $100,000*.

For who?

Aimed at social economy enterprises planning to launch a community bond or preferred share issue campaign.

The impact

For the issuing company, this reduces the sales effort, automatically doubling its earnings.

For the solidarity finance ecosystem, this mechanism validates the aspect of participatory financing by multiplying its impact.

For the community, it’s an opportunity to invest responsibly in a project close to their hearts, and to see their investment double in impact.

The accelerator effect

In addition to translating their community’s support into financial terms, equity crowdfunding, combined with the Fonds l’ampli, enables companies to raise a capital outlay that generally produces a leverage effect with other backers who see the support the project enjoys.
