Kate Ruff leads Common Approach to Impact Measurement, which is stewarding community-driven impact measurement standards that create flexible, shareable data and that center the voices of social purpose organizations and those they serve.
Kate has 20 years of experience advising social purpose organizations on feasible approaches to measuring (sometimes estimating) their impact. Kate is also an Associate Professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University.
In her academic role, Kate publishes research on impact measurement, particularly measures focused on centering the voices of those whose lives are most impacted.
